  • A copy of original proof of purchase
  • The bicycle model name, model year, size and serial number

If the cause of the fault isn't initially clear, the defective product may need to be returned to Merida UK for closer inspection.

We understand that accidents can happen.

Whilst a Merida carbon frame is fantastic for providing that competative advantage, the inherent material properties of carbon fibre can severly compromise the structural integrity of the frame when subjected to impact.

For this reason, from the 2011 model year we offer to the original owner of any Merida carbon frame a crash replacement carbon frame at 50% off the normal retail price.

To make use of this service customers who have sustained crash related damage to their Merida carbon frame must return their damaged frame with orginal proof of purchase to an authorised Merida dealer for inspection.

If the damage is deemed to have compromised the integrity of the frame, an equivelent cash replacement frame will be offered at 50% less than normal retail price.

The Merida Carbon Crash Replacement offer is subject to stock availablity.

If the equivalent current model bicycle frame is not available, alternatives will be offered.

The customer will pay 50% of the frames RRP plus carraige costs direct to Merida UK prior to the frame being dispatched.

The frame will be delivered to the dealer for assembly.

The dealer will negotiate and charge labour costs for replacement frame build up direclty with the customer.
